Evaluation - as the designer

This is my final design that I came up with. Out of all three of the designs that were potential for my final idea, this was my favourite one. Buns were popular during the Elizabethan era but double buns are very modern so I like that i'm still sticking to the Elizabethan style but added a contemporary twist. I also decided to add a plait on the top of the head as this was an Elizabethan style as well.

These were the images of my final design that my partner created on me. I think she did an alright job of bringing my hair chart to life. The buns were on the crown of the head which is exactly where I  wanted them, the braid on the top of my head didn't have a straight line in the sectioning. For the pieces at the side of the head I said for loose hair to be hanging at the side which she did but each side didn't match and they looked wonky, the hair wasn't straight either the hairline was wonky. I wanted all the hair typing up at the back but she left some loose pieces hanging down.

I don't think me and my partner communicated that well together. She practised on my hair once and said she was happy with it and didn't need to practise again.
